This week it has been the annual hot air balloon festival in my city!

Everyday when I walk to school, the sky is filled with balloons. It's a really nice thing to wake up to the sounds of the burners haha. ☆

2 more outfits using my teddy bear dress! My leggings and hat on the right were a lot greener, but my room is dark ╯︵╰,
& details of an outfit I wore this week ♡

Yesterday we had a class of Japanese students from Katsuyama visting our school. They were so friendly! Thankfully my Japanese, and their English, was good enough that we had a really great time just talking about anything and everything!
As a gift, they gave each of us a Japanese magazine!

A special on Aoi Yu? Yes please!ヽ(°ω° )ノ

Katsuyama is next to Hiroshima and is known for being a ski resort and R&R area. I will leave you with some pictures of Katsuyama and the surrounding sights! They are very lucky to live in such a beautiful place. One of the students said that, sometimes when he bikes to school monkeys get in his way!  ゚ロ゚

This weekend is the 'Ballons at Night' event, and I'll be sure to take many photos of it!
See you again soon! ・゚,,。・:*❀・゚

  1. Katsuyama sounds and looks so beautiful! Rural Japan is just gorgeous, it's all like something from a Miyazaki film!

I love your socks in the third photo, nordic knits are one of my favourite things at the moment :)

  2. Ah~ I miss the sound of burners!! When I was a kid we lived in a house that had a huge field behind it and sometimes people would fill their hot air balloons there to take off! I was also so excited to watch. (。◕‿◕。)

Your outfits are so lovely, by the way~ I've just started following your blog recently, but I love your coordinates. I think you have a natural sense for the style!! ☆
